NAGLEAD VS JOBBER: WHICH IS RIGHT FOR SOLO CLEANERS?
Jobber is a great product. It's also $39-199/month, built for teams with office staff, and has more features than a solo cleaner will ever use. If that's you, keep reading.

WHEN JOBBER MAKES SENSE
Jobber is the right choice if you:
- Have 3+ employees and need to schedule their routes
- Want invoicing, quotes, and payment processing in one tool
- Need a client portal where customers can book online
- Are willing to spend time setting up workflows and automations
- Have an office person (or you are the office person) managing the business side
If you're at that stage, Jobber is genuinely good software. We're not here to trash it.
WHEN NAGLEAD MAKES SENSE
NagLead is the right choice if you:
- Work alone or with one helper
- Track leads on your phone, sticky notes, or memory
- Don't need scheduling software — you know your own calendar
- Already have a way to invoice (Venmo, Zelle, cash, QuickBooks)
- Just need to stop forgetting to call people back
That's most solo cleaners. You don't have an office. You don't have a team. You have a phone full of text messages from potential customers, and half of them went cold because you were scrubbing a bathroom when they called.
THE REAL COST DIFFERENCE
Let's do the math over a year:
| NagLead Pro | Jobber Core | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $10 | $39 |
| Annual | $89 | $468 |
| You save | $379/year with NagLead | |
That's $379 back in your pocket every year. And if you use Jobber's payment processing, add another 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction on top. For a solo cleaner doing $4,000-6,000/month in revenue, that's another $150-200/month in processing fees.
"BUT NAGLEAD DOESN'T DO SCHEDULING"
Correct. Because you don't need software to schedule yourself. You know when you're free. You know your drive times. You text the customer "How about Thursday at 2?" and it's done.
Scheduling software solves the problem of coordinating multiple employees across multiple jobs. If you're a one-person crew, that problem doesn't exist.
What does exist is the problem of forgetting to call Sarah back about her deep clean quote. That's the $200 you lost this week. That's what NagLead fixes.
"BUT NAGLEAD DOESN'T DO INVOICING"
Also correct. Most solo cleaners already have a payment method that works: Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, cash, or a simple QuickBooks setup. Adding invoicing to your lead tracker would make it more complex, not more useful.
NagLead does one thing: makes sure you don't lose leads. That's it. Use whatever you already use for everything else.
THE UPGRADE PATH
Here's the thing — NagLead and Jobber aren't really competitors. They're different tools for different stages:
- Solo, just starting out: NagLead ($10/month) + your phone calendar + Venmo
- Growing, 2-5 employees: Jobber ($39-119/month) for scheduling, invoicing, team management
- Established, 5+ employees: Jobber Grow ($199/month) or Housecall Pro for full operations
Start with NagLead. When you're busy enough to need scheduling and invoicing software, you'll know — because NagLead will show you a win rate and revenue number that proves it's time to level up.
TRY BOTH. SERIOUSLY.
Jobber has a 14-day free trial. NagLead has a free tier (5 active leads, forever). Try both. You'll know in 10 minutes which one fits your current reality.
If you open Jobber and think "this is a lot," that's not a failing on your part — it's a tool built for a bigger operation than yours. There's no shame in using the simpler tool. There is shame in losing a $250 cleaning job because you forgot to call someone back.
